Sonya Lipstick and Lipgloss - by Forever Living Review

It's been known for a long time, that aloe Vera is an amazing product for the skin - Forever Living's products all contain Aloe Vera, which is one of my favourite skincare brands. So, when Forever Living brought out the new Sonya Makeup Line,    and I checked out the product range, I immediately had to add these two products because I just couldn't resist...

Since darker colours have been all the rage this winter season, I decided to try out the dramatic lip look and pick out some purple shades.

I chose the “Amethest” lipstick and the “Party Purple” lipgloss (which lights up!!..)
Both lip products are over the £20 mark, but due to their high-end quality - it's totally worth it!

Both these products are so moisturising when applying them, due to them containing aloe Vera which really hydrate the lips. They have absolutely amazing pigmentation, the lipstick has a satiny finish, meanwhile the gloss is superbly glossy and glimmering with it's sparkles but does not have the sticky feel which I hate!

For a daytime look, I would wear either the lipstick for a more matte, shimmery finish or the lipgloss for a sheerer, glittery look - but when you wear them together you have the most brilliant, bold look for an evening out!

I've now also got the lipgloss in “Perfect Pink” as well as purchasing a few for friends and family - the lipglosses make perfect presents!

I'm in love with this purple lip colour, and I'm definately going to be using this liplook for summer nights still, because it's purple-fect! In love with them!

Favourite Foundation? Hello Flawless by Benefit!

In the summer, for my birthday, I decided to treat myself to a new foundation. Hearing great things about the Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow Foundation, and instantly falling in love with it's packaging - I thought I would try out the product!

The product itself is amazing - I bought the shade Ivory:“I'm pure 4 sure” (the yellow toned lightest colour.) And even though it's yellow toned, it is one of the few foundations which doesn't  give me the tangoed face!

The creamy liquid applies smoothly with a brush, though for this product I love using either my hands to “melt” the foundation into my skin or using my beautyblender.

This product gives me a healthy glow, like it says on the packaging - it is a “Brightening Makeup” item. It builds from a light to medium coverage and contains vitamins C and E which are known to prevent aging. It also has an SPF of 25. The only downside I have for this product, is that I feel that the product can run out quite quickly - after buying my first bottle in mid-August it ran out by the end of October, but maybe that was because I was constantly using this while doing my makeup!

The foundation feels so light on, but feels very moisturising. It gives a smooth, flawless finish, and feels great while you are wearing it. The foundation is quite long lasting, but for me, after about 5 hours it needed touching up.

If you need a hydrating, brightening, light foundation - this is the one.

EOS Lip Balm Review

After watching so many youtubers raving on about the EOS lipbalms, I decided it was finally time for me to buy one in the summer, since I was in the US, and I could'nt find them anywhere in the UK! When I spotted the irrestible, cute, pale pink, egg like packaging - I couldn't resist, I just had to get the strawberry scented one! At only $4.99, (roughly about £3.50ish,) I've bought one of the best lipbalms I've ever had.

There are a lot of mixed views on this lipbalm range though, with reviewers saying that ''it's just the packaging that's good, not the product,'' but I have to say that I completely disagree, for me, this lipbalm is really hydrating, though I find I have to re-apply through-out the day, because of I'm addicted to it's gorgeus strawberry scent, which leaves a lovely, smooth, delicous feeling to your lips!

Out of 10? 10.

REVIEW: Maybelline Age Rewind Eraser Concealer

REVIEW: Maybelline Age Rewind Eraser Concealer

It can take ages to find a reasonable concealer that actually conceals under-eye circles and blemishes, without looking orange, cakey or sliding off, which gave me a great suprise when I found the Maybelline Age Rewind Eraser Concealer, a product I'ld heard great things about, actually did all the jobs a concealer is supposed to do!

This concealer  has a light consistencey, but gives medium to full coverage. It blends exceptionally well, and highlights and brightens under the eye. But I've heard that it can look dry under the eye, so thats why I use either my balence Me. daily essentials moisture-rich face cream or my Forever Aloe Moisturizing Lotion to moisturize and prime my under eye.

I like the peachy yellow undertone of this product, it will suit people with fair/light skin, but there are only six shades of this concealor, Fair,  Medium, Honey, Neutralizer, Brightener and Light, which I have. This concealer only comes in  lighter shades so won't suit people with darker skintones.

The Instant Age Rewind has a puff at the top, which makes this product really easily blend into the skin, but some people argue that this isn't hygenic and bacteria can spread easily, for me, this isn't a problem, as with a wipe, I can easily clean the puff.

The problem for me is that you don't get a whole lot of product for the price. I bought this concealer for £7.99 at Boots last week, and already half of this product has gone!

This product is definately quality over quantity, and I will definately be buying this product again, it is long-lasting and covers well, but maybe next time,I'll  just be saving it for special occasions!

What are your thoughts on this concealor? Comment below!

OUTFIT: Classy Chic Casual with Retro Twist

Perfect for a day out shopping, a coffee morning, casual lunch - daytime look...

All items are from Topshop.

This top is a simple, yet elegant top, which can be dressed up or down. The main feature is its lace detail - with a little sparkle from its  all over sequins, it also has a scalloped edge at the bottom of this cute crop top.

These ''denim look'' jersey  leggings have a retro feel to them, with their high waistline - they bring us back to the 80s. They also have a bleach wash, which makes these light blue leggings have a light summery feel. They dress down the outfit, for a more casual event.

This blazer is even more retro, with its quirky postage stamp design - what's not to love? The bright colours on this jacket, pull this whole outfit together, tying in the light blues and whites. I'm loving this statement piece! It does all the talking!

These shoes, are a bright white. They dress up the outfit a little, and bring a fresh feel to the look with their simplicity.

This satchel too,  has a simple, smart approach to it. This white accesory, also adds the clean, fresh vibe to the outfit.

I had to add this bracelet to the outfit, with its white diamonte stones embedded in a rose gold metal, I couldn't resist adding a little bling to this outfit!..

Outfit Complete! What do you think?
